You like to take it slow with a few breaks and happy being on your feet for 2-3 hours a day for 1-2 days. You probably don't have all the kit, require outdoors advice and looking to try an activity for the first time.
Jump on into a multi-activity coastal weekend with healthy, delicious and locally sourced food on the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline. You will learn to make fire, wild cook, sea kayak and search for hidden caves and beaches accessible only from the water.
Working with our local B Corp partners, you'll be part of a beach clean and a tree planting initiative where you plant your own cell grown saplings at Sam's field. These are a mixture of indigenous British trees with a focus on pollinators like Rowan, Damson, Crab Apple and Lime.
Kayak around St Davids Peninsula and stargaze from a beach bivvy.
The accommodation is simple, but it gives you access to the water in a few steps. Bunkhouses and tents.
Fuel the inner-pyromaniac - make your own fire and learn to cook on it.
Working with our B Corp partners, complete a beach clean and plant trees.
Day 1 - Arrive at St David's
We'll collect you from the train station and welcome you with a feast night in St David's. Alissa and Roo’s Supper Clubs having been taking the coast by storm and the eponymous chefs will be showcasing the best local ingredients and produce to bring everyone together around that most fundamental life source - good food and cheer!
Day 2 - Explore St David's Peninsula from the Water
Rise early for a wild swim on the local beach before heading back for a hearty cooked breakfast. You will be kayaking, coasteering and snorkelling your way along the Pembrokeshire coast. You’ll discover hidden coves, explore secret caves and sandy beaches only accessible from the sea and wonder at the wildlife above and below the water. Your guide will teach you about the ocean critters and seaweeds that live on our patch - something we need your help in fiercely protecting. We encourage you to be proud supporters of the wonderful #2minuteBeachClean project, and if we see any plastic in the sea that shouldn’t be there, we’ll pick it up on the way.

A full kit list is available on request and will be sent to all guests ahead of travel. In short, it includes:
It is a requirement of travelling with us that you take out a personal accident and travel insurance. In the unlikely event of an emergency, this will cover you for any need of evacuation as medical attention.
We provide all safety equipment (wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets, kayaks) and camping equipment.
There will be a feast night at the cabin and a campfire cooking session.
Luggage can be stored at the accommodation - St David's Bunk Barns.
Our activities can be physically demanding but we encourage people of any fitness to take part. Kayaking is done at a gentle pace and the intensity of coasteering can be tailored to the individual.
See Pembrokeshire in all its spring glory as the sun starts to shine but the beaches stay quiet. Pembrokeshire bursts into life at this time of year as flowers blossom (lots of bluebells) and migrating birds return from their journeys back to Pembrokeshire. While it begins to get a little warmer, being on the coast there will still be a cool breeze and gets chilly at night, so worth bringing lots of warm layers. There are usually sunny days mixed with cooler weather.
All dietary requirements can be catered for, just let us know after booking when you're asked to provide more information.

There's plenty to see (both indoors and outdoors) around St David's - grab a coffee in one of the many cafes
(Dusty Knuckle - wood fired pizza, The Meadow, Pebbles) or check out Oriel y Parc and the cathedral for a culture tour. There's a number of great pubs around (The Druidstone - you can also stay here, The Sloop Inn) or hit the coastal path to walk miles of scenic beauty and discover hidden beaches to swim, surf and check out the marine life (jellyfish, starfish, seals). Other nice areas are Dale, Broad Haven and Newgale.
Our Wales adventure requires 5 people to go ahead. Please book when you're ready but hold off from purchasing flights/trains until we confirm the trip. We will do this at least 90 days prior to the trip.
