Our mission is to bring real adventure to everyday people. It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned explorer or this is your first time out of a big city – we create experiences for all ability groups in beautiful remote locations around the world.
Each adventure is graded to help find the one that’s right for you, ranging from the Hedgehog to the Mountain Lion.
You like to take it slow with a few breaks and happy being on your feet for 2-3 hours a day for 1-2 days. You probably don't have all the kit, require outdoors advice and looking to try an activity for the first time.
You’re beginning to feel at one with the river or mountain. You’re content with 4-5 hours of activity a day for 2-3 days.
You’re at one with nature and happy to be taking on a proper challenge that has elements of the unknown. 8 hours on feet per day over 2-3 days or 3-5 hours on feet over 4 days.
Your very definition is wild and you know anything can happen in the wilderness so must have had some prior experience. Your bucket list is filled with adventures that are already ticked off and you’re looking for the ultimate experience in nature. Happy to spend 5 days back to back doing 8 hours of tough physical activity per day.
Whether you are a Hedgehog, Wolf, Mountain Goat or Mountain Lion, we have been amazed by how everyone is open to making friends that often last for years after a trip. However - we love meeting interesting and different people from all walks of life. There are solos, couples, friends, dads and daughters. The mix of people from different backgrounds adds to the learning experience and provides an opportunity to mix with 10-15 people who you might not otherwise cross trails with.
Regardless of your adventure level, we’ll help you prepare for your adventure through regular support from our team, making sure you have the right kit in your bag, visas and even advice on the best book to read up on the area. In order to give you the best chance of enjoying yourself on an IGO, we advise that people build a base level of fitness before attending. Depending on your current level, this can include anything from a long weekly walk with a backpack to daily workouts with our training partner Be Military Fit.
